Terminal 5 is O'Hare's international arrivals terminal on Concourse M. It is the one terminal where the pre-arranged pickup point is different: the Chicago Department of Aviation designates Vestibule 5D or 5E here, rather than the curb doors used at Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Terminal 5 pre-arranged pickup is on the lower level, Vestibule 5D or 5E. This is the part most O'Hare pickup guides get wrong: the taxi stand at the curb front is for metered street-hail cabs. A pre-booked car is a livery vehicle, and the Chicago Department of Aviation only permits liveries to meet passengers at the designated pre-arranged area.
Terminal 5 pickups need more scheduling slack than any other terminal because passengers clear customs and immigration before reaching baggage claim. That wait is unpredictable and is not visible in the flight's landing time, so a ride booked against the scheduled arrival will almost always be early.
Do not call dispatch from the immigration hall. Clear customs, collect your bags, then call — the driver's permitted waiting time at the lane is short, and customs queues at Terminal 5 regularly run past an hour.
Your fare depends on your destination suburb, not on which terminal you arrive at. These are published sedan base fares:
