O'Hare Airport Taxi Pickup Guide — Where to Meet Your Driver

You've just landed at O'Hare. Your bags are off the carousel. Now where do you find your taxi? Here's the complete guide.

The General Rule at O'Hare

For all car service and taxi pickups at O'Hare, head to the lower level of your terminal after baggage claim. Look for the "Ground Transportation," "Taxi," or "Car Services/TNP" signs and follow them to the curbside pickup zone. Your driver will be in the middle lane marked for car services.

Terminal 1 (United Airlines, Lufthansa)

After baggage claim, take the escalators or elevator down to the lower level. Exit through Door 1E or 1F on the east side. Car service pickup is in the middle lane.

Terminal 2 (United Express, American Eagle)

Exit baggage claim to the lower level. Use Door 2E or 2F. Your driver will be in the designated car service lane in the middle of the roadway.

Terminal 3 (American, Delta, Southwest, and most domestic carriers)

The busiest terminal. After baggage claim, go to the lower level and exit through Door 3E or 3F. Follow the signs for Ground Transportation. The car service lane is in the center of the pickup zone.

Terminal 5 (International Flights)

Terminal 5 is separate from the other terminals. After clearing customs and collecting your bags, exit through Vestibule 5D or 5E on the lower level. Your driver will be in the car service/TNP lane directly outside.
